The Jackson Bulls suffered a 6-2 loss to New London-Spicer in 13 innings Sunday in the first round of the state tournament, eliminating the Bulls from the state tournament.
Jackson left 14 runners on base, 10 of them in scoring position. The Bulls struggled at the plate with runners in scoring position, hitting only 2-for-16 in the loss.
Andy Wolf was 2-for-7 with an RBI, Kip Wachal was 2-for-5, and Trent Sukalski was 1-for-5 with two runs scored for Jackson, who finishes the year with a 15-14 record.
